BAPI for creating Service Purchase Requisition / Purchase Orders

BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE , BAPI_PO_CREATE are the standard BAPI’s used for creating PR / PO. For materials its straight forward , but for services getting the structure of input might be slightly difficult.

SAP Notes : 452608, 420331, 420332 and 420334 , can support where there is template provided as example for building the input structure.

Issue 01 : PR / PO created with incorrect line item value.

Check table : ESUH. This is a limits table and there is a package no column. if the Pack No used in the BAPI for creating the line item refers to one of the entries in the table , PR / PO is created with the limit value maintained in ESUH.

The only way to avoid is to user number range not in the table for package no. Ex : 80000001
